Incidents
An incident is an active DOWN event: the task has failed its check and has not yet recovered. This section shows all such events in one place.
How an incident appears
- The task changes to DOWN status — the incident is created automatically.
- While the task has not recovered, the incident remains open.
- As soon as a successful check passes, the incident closes automatically.
Icon in navigation
Next to the "Incidents" menu item, a counter of open incidents is displayed. The icon color shows the status:
| Color | What it means |
|---|---|
| Red | There are active incidents whose notifications are not muted — they require attention. |
| Yellow | All active incidents are muted — notifications are paused, but incidents remain open. |
Muting an incident
If the incident is already known and you are working on fixing it, you can mute it. This stops repeated notifications but does not close the incident — it will close automatically after the task recovers.
The icon next to the "Tasks" item also turns red if there are active unmuted incidents — so you can see the problem from any section.
