Subscription Expiration and Freeze

When your PRO subscription expires, your account is frozen. Nothing is deleted and nothing disappears: tasks, status pages, technical work, channels, and contacts stay in place with all settings intact. Checks are simply paused and will resume immediately after payment.

The account is not automatically downgraded to the free plan. Your previous plan's limits are preserved, so after renewal you won't need to reconfigure anything.

What the freeze looks like

On the subscription page, the current plan is marked as «PRO · frozen», and on each personal account page, a warning appears with two actions: renew the subscription or switch to the free plan.

What continues to work and what stops

Section What happens to it
Task checks Paused. The tasks and their settings are preserved.
Notifications Don't arrive: while checks are not running, no new events occur.
Status pages Remain published and accessible at their addresses.
Technical work Continues to run on schedule.
Reports Daily report is not generated. Weekly and monthly reports are sent, but no new data will appear in them during the freeze.
Channels and contacts Fully preserved, including notification delay and repeat settings.
Please note: the status page remains accessible to your clients, but the data on it freezes at the moment of the last completed check — no new measurements arrive. If the page is used externally, it's better to renew your subscription or unpublish the page so visitors don't take outdated metrics for actual ones.

How to unfreeze

Pay for the subscription in the «Manage Subscription» section — the account will unfreeze automatically, and checks will resume without additional actions.

  • If you choose a plan at least as large as the previous one, everything will return to exactly the state it was in before the freeze.
  • If you choose a smaller plan, tasks exceeding the new limit will be disabled — as with a regular plan change, see choosing and changing a plan.

Switching to the free plan

If you no longer need PRO, click «Switch to free plan». This is a conscious action, and it is irreversible in the sense that some settings will be disabled:

  • tasks and status pages using PRO features will be disabled regardless of their quantity;
  • from the remaining ones, everything that exceeds free plan limits will be disabled.

Disabled tasks are not deleted — they can be enabled again after getting a PRO subscription. Until you click this button, the freeze preserves your previous plan indefinitely.

Expiration reminders

Three days before your subscription ends, we send a reminder, and at the moment of the freeze — a separate message that checks are paused. Both emails are sent to your email address, and if you have a channel with the «Use for system notifications» parameter enabled, to that channel as well.
