Reports

Reports show how service availability changed over a period in numbers, so you can share results with your team or clients.

What is included in the report

  • List of tasks that participated in the period.
  • Availability time percentage.
  • Total downtime duration for each interval.

Fields and parameters

Parameter How it is used
Period The interval being aggregated: day, week, or month.
Start and end date Defines the statistics calculation timeframe.
Availability percentage Part of the time when the task was considered "up". 100% means there were no failures in the interval.
Downtime duration Total minutes/hours when the task was unavailable.

How to enable reports

The frequency is selected in each task's settings — the «Reports» field. A new task has weekly and monthly checked by default.

Frequency When it's useful
Daily PRO For critical services whose status needs to be tracked every day.
Weekly Standard mode for most tasks.
Monthly For reporting to clients or management.
A single report is created for the period, not separately for each task: all tasks with this frequency checked are included in it.

Where reports go

The finished report is sent through notification channels that have the «Use for reports» parameter enabled. This is a separate toggle on the channel, and works differently from task alerts: report channels are not selected in the task itself — distribution goes to all enabled channels with this parameter. If you don't need to receive reports in a messenger, disable the parameter on the channel — they will still be available in the section.

How to use

  1. Open the reports list in the section — they go from newest to oldest.
  2. Inside the report, look at the rows for each task and each interval.
  3. Compare availability percentage between adjacent periods and check downtime peaks.
While the account is frozen due to subscription expiration, checks are not running: weekly and monthly reports will continue to arrive, but no new data will appear in them, and daily reports will stop being generated.
